Europe Night Trains Slovakia – company formation

We established Europe Night Trains Slovakia s.r.o. on 24 November 2020.

Since its inception, ENT has been analysing the European rail market and planning its entry into it. The company actively monitors the competition and tests their services, with the aim of identifying shortcomings, better understanding customer requirements and thereby bringing services of the highest quality to the rail market.

Transport

The provision of rail transport services is the company’s main planned business activity. On daytime services, this will involve the carriage of passengers in seating carriages and in various classes. On night services, this will involve transport in seated class and transport with accommodation services, specifically in couchette and sleeper carriages. We will also provide additional services on first-class carriages.

Accommodation services

Accommodation for passengers in ENT couchette and sleeper carriages offers customers a comfortable journey on medium- and long-distance routes. For passengers, using these accommodation services means, above all, privacy and comfort during the journey, as well as the opportunity to sleep undisturbed by other passengers; breakfast is also included in the ticket price. The advantages over car and air travel lie in the absence of the need to drive or go through check-in and waiting at the airport, the opportunity for better social interaction with fellow passengers, a more comfortable and creative way of spending free time relaxing or working, and greater freedom of movement during the journey, whilst passengers can rest and wake up in the morning close to their destination.

ENT Catering Services

On most of our ENT long-distance rail services, catering services will also be available to passengers, provided in modern dining carriages equipped with state-of-the-art kitchens. The food and drinks menu will be created by gastronomy experts. Our menu will be based on quality and locally sourced ingredients. Most dishes will be prepared on board the train, ensuring high quality and freshness.

Ecology

At our company, we also take environmental protection seriously. All of the company’s planned routes will be operated by electric locomotives, which produce no emissions. It is fair to say that the company’s core business is virtually emission-free.

Collaboration with schools and Europe Night Trains Slovakia

The company plans to collaborate with a number of secondary schools and universities in Slovakia and abroad through dual education programmes, particularly in the fields of transport and catering. Students will have a unique opportunity to gain practical experience that they can put to use in their professional lives, or they may choose to remain with ENT.
